This is a breif portrait of Nottingham the city i come from and have lived all my life and am justly proud of .

Nottingham over the years has had many industries that has helped to put it on the map world wide ,and a few are ,its famouse Nottingham Lace , Raleigh Cycles,  John Player & Sons ( imperial tobacco ) ,and of course its legends include Robin Hood , Lord Byron , D.H,Lawrence.

Once a year Nottingham hosts the biggest travelling fair in the country ,and possibly europe ,its famouse Goose Fair thats held for just a few days in october each year ,and is a mecca for showman and visitors from all over .

Nottingham is a wonderful city and justly has the name queen of the midlands ,and with its uptodate tram system now and new developments strives to keep very much up with the times and trends .

The following are a few photos of the city i was born and bred in ,and have lived all my life .

Each Year Nottingham hosts a medievil festival at the castle ,and also has a perminant exibition on maid marion way ,called the tales of robin hood

THIS IS INSIDE THE VICTORIA CENTRE SHOPPING CENTRE .and is emmits water clock.the leaves fall down when it plays music and the little animals all turn and dance
